Proud beyond borders: Our project THE SOURCE has been honored with the prestigious Global Human Settlements Awards at the 19th Annual Session of the Global Forum on Human Settlements (GFHS 2024), held at the United Nations headquarters in New York City on October 24, 2024.

The Empira Group, a leading company for institutional real estate investments in Europe and the USA, has been able to secure the insurance company die Bayerische as a long-term tenant for 11,550 square metres of commercial space in the office complex THE SOURCE.

On 23.03.2023, the global trend scout from Vitra, Raphael Gielgen, presented concepts for the working worlds of the future at the House of Communications in Munich. Using examples such as the Woven City in Japan or Bay View and Charleston East, Gielgen showed what the office of tomorrow could look like. The classic form of the office no longer works; instead, a place is required where employees can identify with themselves and which enables exchange and inspiration. In short, a feel-good place with appeal.

The City Council's planning committee has approved the development plan to revitalize the site on Baierbrunner Strasse in the south of Munich. With this convincing decision, another important milestone has been made for the revitalisation of the site around the former Siemens high-rise.

In the context of the online conference "The Future of Work in Life Science", the multi-layered aspects of new, modern working environments were presented to industry representatives on February 2, 2023. The speakers, consisting of management consultants, interior designers, and architects, referenced the project development THE SOURCE in the south of Munich.

The targeted WELL Platinum precertification for THE SOURCE has been successfully completed with a total of 82 points. WELL certification evaluates buildings with a view to people’s health and well-being. A total of ten categories are analyzed, measured, and evaluated.

The LEED certification system is the most widely used rating system for sustainable buildings.
